Below are some questions that many people ask about Smart Sprouts Preschool.

How much does it cost?

$75/month due on the first of the month via Venmo, cash, or check. There is a $50 non-refundable registration fee to hold your place. All other supplies, field trips, snacks, etc are included in their monthly tuition.

Can my 3 year old come?

This class is only for 4-5-year-olds who plan to attend Kindergarten the following year. Students must be 4 before Sept. 1st.

Will you teach my child to read?

As a previous First Grade teacher, I absolutely LOVE to teach children to read. HOWEVER, I am a big believer in meeting the child where they are at. In fact, research has proven that it is imperative to teach just above their level- not too advanced and not too boring. For that reason, this answer will vary for each student. While some preschoolers are ready to read, others are still working on more basic literacy concepts.

How much time do you take off for holidays? Do you have a Spring Break? Snow Days?

We follow Madison School District so align schedules with older siblings (and also so I don’t have to make judgement calls about snow days 😉 ). See here for the calendar.

Does my child have to wear a mask?

I do not require masks.
